Investment Structure

Successful applicants applying for Citizenship of Grenada via the Port Louis approved project will purchase Condominium Title to a specific unit within the S.Y.L.C development at Port Louis.

These successful applicants will be required to hold the investment for a minimum of five years during which time they will not be liable for any operating costs or capital calls, and conversely will not receive any revenue. The Developers have undertaken to take on this risk for the entire five year mandatory holding period.

At the expiration of the 5 year holding period the investor may divest of the property or choose to keep the property and enter it into the mandatory rental program.

As well as residential property, Port Louis also has available retail and commercial units under the same program.

Should any investors wish to make a larger investment Port Louis do build private custom homes for families and can also offer other commercial opportunities.

All application, legal, government and due diligence fees are excluded. (For a Main Applicant plus one dependant the cost would be an additional USD $100,000.00) Minimum fees will also apply for all supplementary applicants (immediate family members) applied for by the Main Applicant such as dependant children under the age of 26 years and dependant parents.

Supplementary Applicant Fees for Family Members are as follows:-
NB – All child and parent applications are for children under 26 years and parents financially dependent on the Main Applicant.
Families over 4 in number will incur a fee of US$25,000.00 per additional applicant.

 Application for Investment/Citizenship

Investors will be required to provide full and detailed documentation as follows:-

  • Complete an application form with full ‘KYC’ information for each investor.
  • Provide two references. One from their banker and one from their lawyer, accountant or financial advisor.
  • Provide a certified copy of their current passport AND coloured copies of all passports possessed.  Criminal Records Verification Medical Health Certificate.
  • Provide a bona fide source of funds.
  • Affidavit of Support for dependents over 18.
  • Coloured copies of all current nationality cards.
  • Certified college or university transcripts for children over 18.
  • Birth or Adoption Records.
  • Certified copy of marriage or divorce certificates.
  • Complete an Educational History form.
  • Provide six copies of a recent passport size photograph per applicant. Each has to be notarized and endorsed by an attorney.
  • In case of name change applicant must provide a registered Birth Certificate or Deed Poll recording the change.

 

Sign the Citizenship Certificate Agreement and Escrow Agreement and deposit with the Escrow Agent, the full value of the CBI contract. This must in all cases be a minimum of  USD $450,000.00- inclusive of all processing, due diligence, application and legal fees for the main applicant and one dependant. Applicants must be aware that, if they provide any documents or information which are subsequently found to be fraudulent, their citizenship will be withdrawn and all fees and expenses will be non-refundable.
